This young artist, who doesn’t hide his admiration for Turner, Goya or Permeke, has the faculty to create saturated atmospheres, clouded with unreal lights, which plunge the spectator in contemplation. Like a sailor, he confirms his interest for the liquid element, mixture of fascination and fear. And like the Ancients, he finds in the sea the immensity which carries you to the end of the world, where human being falls into infinity.
